Guangzhou City, referred to as Guangzhou and Suizhou, also known as Yangcheng, is the provincial capital, sub-provincial city and one of the first batch of coastal open cities in Guangdong Province, the People's Republic of China. Guangzhou is the commercial and trade center and comprehensive transportation hub for mainland China and Guangdong [6]. It is the largest city in China. Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province. As of March 18, 2021, Guangzhou's total area is 7434.40 square kilometers [2]. As of December 2021, Guangzhou has 11 districts, a total of 34 towns, and 142 streets [3]. At the end of 2022, Guangzhou’s permanent population was 18.7341 million [4].
