When talking about bsd, we have to mention freebsd. As the most influential bsd distribution, freebsd has almost become synonymous with bsd. The freebsd project originated in early 1993, and the initial code was as an unofficial patch package for the 386bsd operating system. If you have an ancient Mac application (from the 1980s or 1990s) for a 68k Macintosh, it may run in an executor or advanced Mac substitute. Don't know if these 68k emulators run.
